Ken Kressel is Director, Graduate Program in Psychology, Rutgers University. His research on the nature and management of social conflict, with a particular focus on the use of mediation as a method for resolving disputes, has grown out of his training as both a social and clinical psychologist.

Professor Kressel co-authored a seminal study on Managing Conflict in an Urban Health Care Setting. Another of his current areas of study is conflict in higher education, particularly in academic departments.

Professor received his Ph.D. from Columbia University.
